Note: Due to the recent passing of California SB2, training times and Costs have changed significantly.

No matter where you are coming from in life, proper firearms training is essential. We offer courses to help you be prepared for those situations.

If you are a new shooter, you definitely need to know the proper function, handling, safety procedures, and do’s and dont’s of the use of your firearm.

For experienced shooters, we offer refresher training, and the necessary training to fulfill the training requirements for CCW (Riverside County) and BSIS.

RSO-Concealed Carry Training​

legal required initial 8 hour CCW course for applying for your CCW

Note: Due to the recent passing of California SB2, training times and Costs have changed significantly.

WHD offers the legal required initial 16 hour CCW course for applying for  your CCW.  This course meets the safety and qualification requirements needed to obtain a CCW from Riverside County Sheriff’s Department for the ability to carry lawfully within the state of California where permitted with a CCW.

If you are a current BSIS (please insert link to BSIS) security guard or desire to become one and obtain a permit to carry an exposed weapon, while on duty in the performance of your security occupation, WHD offers a course so you can obtain your BSIS exposed firearms permit. For keeping up and advancing shooting skills

As a gun owner it is imperative that you train.  Shooting is a perishable skill, but the reality is that you often don’t have enough time to train frequently. To help fit some shooting into your busy schedule I will be conducting ONE HOUR TRAINING SESSIONS: “QUICK SHOOT” These sessions will be scheduled once or twice a week at the affordable cost of $75.00 These are the perfect training sessions for you to maintain / improve your shooting skills when time is short and certification isn’t needed.

Night Pistol

Intermediate or Advanced

Night pistol shoot is for those individuals who are at intermediate or advanced skill level in shooting a pistol and desire to perfect their skills.
You will learn the fundamentals: SAFETY, grip, sighting, breathing, trigger squeeze; types of pistols: revolver, semi-auto; loading unloading.  Using a flash light, attached or hand held.  Discussion on what type of issues can arise in the dark.  Cover and concealment while using a light and more.

For the New or Less experienced shooter

The purpose of this course is to teach anyone who has never shot a handgun or has very little experience with a handgun.  The formal teaching will be predominately lecture; with Q&A.

For the New or Confidence-Seeking Lady Shooter

Ladies Only Basic Pistol is for the individual woman who has never shot a pistol or who has some fear and intimidation or very little experience in shooting, but desires to learn or perfect their skill level.  If you’re really hesitant, bring your female friend with you and the both of you can come and learn to master the pistol instead of it mastering you.
